Since 2003, the DC Bluegrass Union has been a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to
supporting and promoting Bluegrass music in the Washington DC and
surrounding areas, (South to Fredericksburg, VA, North to So. PA, West to Shepherstown, WV and East to the
Eastern shores of Maryland & So. Delaware), basically anywhere within a 2-3 hour drive of DC.
This area is arguably THE most active, creative, and productive Bluegrass community in the world.
As a 501(c) non-profit organization your gifts are fully tax deductible! (We will be happy to provide a tax receipt).
The DC Bluegrass Union hopes to represent the DC Bluegrass community,
serving as the premier steward of Bluegrass music in the extended DC region--and beyond,.
We hope to provide leadership with: Concerts, Festivals, Education and Community.

The DC Bluegrass Union Board of Directors (and supporting Consultants) is composed of a diverse assortment of Bluegrass evangelists, artists and fans, each representing the DC area's fine Bluegrass community with a unique set of talents. These folks bring specialized skills and experience to the table and believe our work will bring successes as we work towards DCBU's goals and initiatives.
